Jamie Foxx breaks his silence on his health

Jamie Foxx has been in the news recently regarding his health. There had been little or no update regarding Fox's mysterious illness, now the actor is coming forward to put the rumors to rest.

Jamie Foxx faced health issues a few months ago and since then his health update has remained a mystery. The actor was admitted to the hospital after suffering from an undisclosed illness. Fans had many different theories about the situation but now, Fox has revealed in a recent video what really happened.

Jamie Foxx posted a video on Instagram on Saturday to reveal what exactly has taken a toll on his health. In an emotional three-minute video, he expressed his gratitude to his family members, fans and well-wishers.

The Amazing Spider-Man actor said, "First of all, I want to say thank you to everyone who prayed and sent me messages. I can't even begin to tell you how far this took me and how it brought me back." Without going into specifics, he told his fans that he "went through something I thought I'd never go through."

Addressing speculation on social media about his health, he clarified, "I know a lot of people were waiting or wanting to hear an update, but to be honest, I didn't want you to see me like that, man." Jamie Foxx explained that he wanted his followers to see him in good spirits, laughing, enjoying life and being in movies and television shows, not him in a vulnerable position with a tube and unsure of his recovery.

Jamie Foxx clarified that he is neither blind nor paralyzed, as was speculated on social media, saying, "As you can see, the eyes are working, the eyes are working absolutely fine. I'm not paralyzed, but... I've been to hell and back, and I've had a few potholes on my road to recovery. But I'm coming back and able to work."

Jamiez ended the video by saying, "I love everybody and I love the love I've got. If you see me out now and sometimes I burst into tears, it's just because it's been hard, man. I was sick, man. But now my feet are under me, so you'll see me outside."
